Hi Gearjammer351
If that's the way things are in Texas then you should feel right at home when you come over here; you can even get Bud in long necks!!
I can't stand that watery crap.I first posted here before I moved but now that I've lived in the UK for a while(after extensive testing)I've deceded that Newcastle Brown Ale is the best there is to be had in this country.I am sure I haven't tried everything, but will try anything with alchohol if anyone has any suggestions.

Obviously a man of good taste. Most of the young in this country have been brainwashed in to thinking that Lager is a man's drink, our traditional beers are slowly going out of production. This suits the brewers
as cat-piss is cheaper to produce.

Just for the record Simon when i am in France in my cottage the door never gets locked during the day. I sometimes forget to lock it at night depends on the alchohol commitment or female sittuation, there is no crime where it is, no grafity, no rubbish its called a community. something this country lost years ago i worked in London for ten years when i left the corps it was a shite hole then so it could only get worse. I certainly dont miss the dump :fist:

Just sent an email to the home office with my opinions!! We'll have to wait and see what their comments are about the 39 immigrants who are returning to Afghanistan!

Here is my email:

I am writing reference the recent announcement that only 39 Afghan 'Asylum seekers' have taken the offer of returning to their home country.

Is there any way that 'Asylum seekers' can be admitted to the country with a caveat on their stay along the lines of:

You may only remain in the UK whilst the government of the UK considers your country to be a hot spot. Once your country is termed 'safe' by us you will then no longer have the right to remain in the UK. You will have 14 days to conclude all of your business before leaving the UK and returning to your homes. Failure to comply with these rules will result in your assets being seized and you and all of your immediate dependants being deported, this includes and children born in the UK during your stay and any partners by marriage.

I am not a militant nor a racist. I am a serving member of HM Forces and feel that it is time that we stopped being a soft touch for all of these economic immigrants who are here sponging off our labours.

I look forward too your comments.

You may get an answer,Sticks, but you can bet your sweet life it will come from some politically correct arsehole, who lives miles away from the nearest asylum seeker.

In the short time I've been alive it hasn't changed a great deal, when I lived in South East Croydon I was one of Three white Kids out of a class of 30.

London to me has always been a big smelly pit where most people are ignorant & rude.

I worked (in the MOD) and lived in London for four years and I cannot for the live of me understand how people can live there out of choice. I couldn't wait to get drafted down to the Westcountry. As the Count says it's a filthy place full of ignorant, rude foreigners most of them living opff our taxes. Yes, I may be retired but I sure as hell still pay taxes - much to my disgust

It must be the fumes from scrumpy orchards and oggie factories that keep you Janners going; human beings couldn't live in the polluted atmosphere :drinking:

I'll have to get in on this one being an immigrant to the UK myself.I believe that no one has a right to live in another country-it is a privelege. When I moved here I was granted permission and consider myself a guest,as any decent person would.I understand how it can be irritating when people demand to be allowed to come to your country-or come illegally.I am not opposed to immigration but there are laws regarding it and people who don't abide by them shouldn't be allowed to stay.
