Gentlemen,
the time has come for the Drill Instructors to form up once again.
it is intended to hold this prestigious event in the Royal Marines Museum on the 20th july 2001.
The reason for selecting the Corps Museum is two fold 1, it moves the location away from the Exmouth area, thus offering the former Instructors from the Deal and South Coast areas a shorter drive. 2, where else in this Golden Jubilee year should a branch as illustrious as ours, sit down to dine.
As you can appreciate this will take a lot of organising so i am hoping that former members will either fall in on this project or turn right dismiss if they are not interested. either way please feel free to contact me.
As i am trying to chace up the numerous former Drill Instructors (Leaders) it is apparent that many contact addresses may have been lost or missed placed.
if you know of any members of our brotherhood that are not on the reunion list please contact me on CTCRM ext 4223
AND REMEMBER A PACE STICK IS FOR LIFE NOT JUST FOR CHRISTMAS!!!!!

I was unaware of last years "buzz"
I went to a top table at CTC at the weekend and was asked if I was I/C Head down in the Heads....
P.S I head a buzz about next years re-union. It`s not my place to start spreading bad int, all I`ll say is if it comes off, it`ll be a WAZZA run.

DL's reuninon! I bet it's loud in the bar when they all start 'talking' and 'drinking by numbers one, two, one, two, noe, wot, eon, owt, hic, zip, Zzzzzzzzzz'. Is there a drill display by Mr Malone and his musket drill team as well?
Just going to do some personal drill:
Reporting to the bar with and empty glass by nubers one, down glass. Two, attract the attention of the bar staff

Drums beating, colours flying and bayonets fixed...

Yes Si, If it does come off then it will be a cracker... to say the least. Already looked into the thought of taking the caravan but unfortunatly there are no sites just there. So it looks like a B&B or hotel.
Well that will get the rest of this lot thinking.... what are the DL's up to now?
No names no pack drill. Location is a need to know basis.
So Sticky Blue, there is no need to worry yourself about being "in the way" or "covering your ears" etc cos you will not be there.
He He He
