The GB Rugby League team stays in the hotel where I work, does that count?

aye thats prety cool! I used to be a Ballboy at Wigan RL whilst i was in High School.

Anyway
The reason is... I have just set up a Rugby League site and i need 5 moderators for the forums! The site is brand new so only just registered it with Search engines so there isn't any one on there at the mo.

Rugby League! Don't bother with that crap, to much kicking the ball the length of the field for my liking, Union is the way forward! :D Go Glagow Rugby!!

Thats rich. Too much Kicking in Rugby League???

I think you have the two mixed up popeye!
Coming from a game where if the full back gets the ball his first plan of action is to hoof it up the field and out of touch because he is frightened that the Big Boys in the middle might jump on him and stick there dirty union fingers.... you get the point. I play both and i know the way the game works.

I play union when i cant be arsed to exercise!

Okay I see where you are coming from, there is a fair few big lazy arsed props out there! The reason I dont really watch League is that I don't think the teams get the chance to get much momentum going, come 5th tackle they have to launch the ball to the other team, they go on a mad charge back up the field and then 5 tackles later the ball goes back again. I think Union is more fluid and you feel as if they are getting somewhere.

it is more fluid in the fact that you dont loose the ball after 5 tackles but just by having 5 tackes before you have to hand over makes the teams faster and more inventive with play. It is a pain losing the ball after 5 but if you keep the ball alive and keep running and passing then you do score.

It all adds up to a faster game. Just my opinion.

I do love Union but its just not fast enough or inventive enough for my taste!

Thanks for pointing that out. I use the same rules for all my sites and it looks like i have been careless in moving text from one forum to another.

All sorted now!
