But we dont have a choice - all we are going to see for the next 6 months is extended "Live" coverage (they all seem pretty dead to me), newspaper headlines trying to latch onto the big bother gravy train in whatever way possible, articles and interviews and endless bloody adverts with the "Stars" in them...

Just ignore it, it'll go away eventually.
Or maybe it would be possible to convince al-qaeda to make it their next target, as symbol of western decadence or something?[/b]

Never seen it and don't want to, I feel it is the cheapest of television. It fills countless hours of the their schedules for next to nothing, and all they need is a few brainless idiots and a mock up building in a studio.

Hear hear, I feel like carrying out a Terminator-style massacre on the f*ckers.

The current version especially is the biggest pile of sh*t going. Who in their right minds would want to watch a bunch of freaks and batty boys anyway?

Seems to me the asylum seeker is the only normal looking person there.

Love it Tab, the old "I haven't seen it and I know all" line. I hate BB with a passion, but then I was sad enough to watch the whole first series (while loving it) and then I turned against it when I saw the "quality" of the four subsequent ones. Watch an episode, then form an opinion. I know you have abrain, so I know that you will hate it as much as oyu do now, but at least you will have your own experience to base it on, not what your mates have said and what the write up in the paper tells you.

What a pile of horse shit, I watched the first bit where they put the contestants into the house, and that was enough for me...

Although they do have an interesting mix, an asylum seeker who hates gays, a camp little gay creature (totally disgusting little creature) who hates asylum seekers and people who sponge off the govt (he’s an art student by the way) a feminist communist political activist PC lesbian bitch, (this woman has all the characteristics I hate in one person, impressive  ).

At least I know whom my friends are talking about now.

Sad world we live in some times.

I have to admit Im watching BB but im over in Australia so its quite amusing to watch our aussie cousins lounging around the house and listening to aussie thoughts on the world and what not. Most people in Oz dont seem to care about much except BBQ's and VB (beer) well at least thats the impression I get in South Australia and from the BB house then again Mr HH may have a completely different outlook as he has been living here.

Good day to you all live from far away lands :D

Well chrisfow I suppose ther has to be one who likes it, as far as I go I have far more to do with my time than waste watching that mindless drivel. By the way you are not one of those who stands outside watching for a glimpse of the contestants, are you?????

What part of that makes you think I like it Tab? I'm just sick of people who make opinions and then go shouting them to anyone who will listen without having their own experience to base it on. What annoyed me was that Tab was proud that he hated it when he didn't know what he was hating. I think that the mods would agree that people taking part in informed debate, however trivial the subject matter, should be informed...

My sad daughters watch it. I Detest it.

The biggest load of rubbish ever put on the TV.

This time the house if full of pimps, poofs, and slappers from what I've seen of it. I may send them a jar of my Sennapod laced pickled onions. That'll give em a "good run for their money" for sure.

Dude, no need to harden your arteries over petty crapola like this.

Listen, nowadays, films and TV programs show exactly what they’re all about in the previews.
You catch a preview of a movie, you decide whether you’ll want to see it or not. Same with TV shows. The trend has been unimaginative and repetitive, with remake after remake which on the whole are inferior to the original by far.
With TV, I think it started with so-called talk-shows and degenerated into ‘reality’ shows.
Picture yourself on a spaceship.
Say for instance the guy you talk to was born long before you and boarded the ship years before you were born. The ship’s all you know.
You sit down for dinner and smack your lips at the cream of chicken and broccoli, while he makes a face, knowing it’s recycled pi$$ and crap you’re eating.

Can you fault him for refusing to even taste it?

Theres worse to come, Channel 4 are apparently making a new show where couples will have sex and then get rated by a panel on their performance!
