Had my final briefing today guys. june 21st coming very soon now. anybody else going on this date. also had my kit list. does any1 know if you have to take socks to raleigh with you.

I think they provide the socks as part of the uniform. I may be wrong though.

Im goin in for aem. where are you from. Theres a couple of boys comin down on the same train as me from cardiff and 1 of them is goin to be an aem to so maybe ill end up training with him. I think 1 of them is also goin to be an omc.

Any more about the socks and tracksuit

You get issue socks. Nice free socks! You get two pairs every month for the rest of your career. They are the best sock in the world and you wont know how to live without them. Just take a few pairs of normal socks with you as you will prob wear them when you get leave.
You have to iron your issue socks for Kit Musters. ( No Joke!)

Im from Birmingham in the West Midlands.

Im not looking forward to the journey. I hear its 8 hours from where I am and 2-3 connections. Also I never got the opportunity to speak to any of the other cadets at my briefing so as of yet, im going down to Plymouth on my lonesome
