I don't know if anyone here knows the answer. I suffer from seasonal hayfever, pretty much get it for June/July and it fades away after that. Do the RN still recruit people with hayfever? I know its pretty much a restriction in the Army, and perhaps even for the RAF - but how about the RN?
What about for BRNC? Allowed to have hayfever?

I got asked if I have hayfever (which I do) at my 'informal interview' for Officer entry. The ACLO then asked what I took, phoned the HQ and said that was fine. I take clarityn which can be bought over the counter but I get it prescribed because it's cheaper. I know it's more of a problem if you want to be a pilot, but for supply/logistics it's fine.
Best just to ask, but as my hubby said - he is already in the RN, loads of people in the navy have hayfever.....
