I've got Fighting Fit (bought it off Amazon a week ago) and to be honest I'm not all that impressed with it. I'm going to have to skip quite a few weeks of the training programme when I start it after xmas.
I thought it would tailor the programme more closely to what you can already do, but it doesn't seem to. For my aerobic exercise, it told me to run two 3 mile runs a week in 20-25 minutes. For one I can run 3 miles in about 18.30, and two I run much more than this every week as it is. Therefore if I followed the programme I would actually be taking a step backwards in terms of training.
If I can copy it, I would be happy to send a few out to anyone that wants a copy.

Re: RM Training Software - Part 2
Cant the software be baught from this website and why do shops not sell it? Also what exaclty does the software do, after you meet the standers that the software asks for does it tell you that your fitness is good for joining?Admin wrote:After the last announcement, and looking into the discussed software there are limited copies available.
After talks we could not get our hands on the mentioned software due to Amazon beating us to the publishers by a matter of hours!.
Amazon purchased the last batch of only 255 units.
I am reassured by the publishers that this software will never be republished, Why the publishers no longer wish to produce the demanded software i'm not sure, usually the case is down to support.
If you're still interested you can read more information on the following link:
http://www.militaryforums.co.uk/software.php
Due to the high demand of information regarding training, we are currently looking into other options.
One being, software developed in conjunction with the Royal Marines.
(Also planned, looking into other forces).
Currently being developed by Wickidnet & Military Forums.

Click on the buy link and then look further.
If you had looked you would have seen that there is a link to second hand versions of the disc.

Lee, if you want help, and most people do, it helps if you help us and yourself. Comments such as SARC, after Stix has dug out the info you need tend to indicate to us that you are wasting our time.

You should talk to somebody who gives a f**k.
