Cheers mate, just curious as to what level you might have acheived beforehand.

Sounds like you did well anyway, I think there are a few guys on here looking to start basic in July.

I meant to add...even if you think you've failed, don't stop putting the work in, chances are you haven't; they will push you to points where you can't physically do the exercise, especially on bottom field...just dig in and do your best. Towards the end of bottom field they had us on our backs with feet lifted 6 inches off the floor. I just couldn't hold it any longer and my feet went down. Cpl in me earhole screaming to get them up. I heaved them up and they went straight back down. This went on for another minute or so, up and down, thought that might be it for me, but it really is just the effort they want. Don't wrap, show you're going past your normal limits, and you'll do fine.

One thing about the PRMC im worried about is what happens if you vomit ? For instance, lets say ive just done the bleep test and im on my pushups or wotever...

Do I get beasted ?
Do i get told to stop pushups, game over no matter what my score ?
Do I tidy it up, and continue pushups or excersise from 'dot' or what ?

I would really like to know this since its summat im kinda worried about...

cheers :)
PJFT : 9.12
PRMC : 24th May... FAILED

In the gym, you are told that if you need to puke there's a fire exit at the back with a drain right outside. Same in swimming pool. Just stick your arm up, yell "Cpl, I'm gonna hurl," and make sure you get your arse out his gym before it comes up!! Make sure you're not in a position of failure when you do go though, because obviously if you're in the middle of press-ups or whatever you can't rejoin. You really shouldn't be sick on gym test one though, it's the easiest bit of the course!! Bottom field/run, just puke on the go...

Heh, another thing on the puking, if you're in the gym and you're gonna puke RIGHT NOW and can't make it to the exit, just lift your t-shirt up from the bottom and puke into your t-shirt. Puking onthe nice and shining Gym floor is a BAAAAAAAAAAAD idea!! :o :D

Just got my date today...I asked for end of July, but I guess a lot of people have asked for around then because of exams etc, plus summer leave, result is I've also got 6th Sept as my start date...just gotta keep fit for the next 4 months!! Guess I'll see you there Jimmy (the other lad from Chatham on our PRMC, Ashworth I think, is starting then as well).
