How will my bad spelling go down if I join the army?
I'm not stupid (I have two degreas) however my spelling stinks. I am dyslexic however the only manifestation of the condition is my smelling....sorry spelling.
I know this is kind of a silly question but it does have a serious side.

Spelling
STB,
As in the PM, I can only speak of joining as an officer.
During the RCB and term one at Sandhurst we had to submit handwritten assignments, of course under time pressure (no worse than uni), so no possiblity of using spell check first. I can't recall if anyone had dyslexia in the Company or not. Spelling mistakes were considered lack of attention to detail, I'm afraid.
Would someone who's been through basic recently as a soldier confirm if you had written assignments?

"Poor Ike, it won't be a bit like the Army. He'll find it very frustrating. He'll sit here and he'll say, 'Do this! Do that!' And nothing will happen."
