I had a change of heart Rob, well it's between Infantry and the Engineers. If infantry it's going to be Royal Green Jackets if not I was thinking about a Combat Engineer.

Just wait and see what I get on the test then go from there. :)

Well I had my test booked for the 4th but due to things cropping up at work I had to rearrange it for today. I got a score of 58, which I was told was a good score :D.

Before you take the test the words "work quickly and accurately" come on the screen. I think I paid more attention to quickness then accuracy but never mind.

Max score on the BARB is 80? 4 tests X 20? Got the info pack a few days ago, but it didn't mention anything about the max score or passing score etc.

Are the tests in it really as easy as the examples in the BARB preparation book? i.e. Mark is happier than Sue. Who is the happiest? lol :o :D

The BARB test questions are easy but you have to do
them as fast as possible whilst still getting the right answer.

It also shows the questions first then clears the screen and
then asks for the answer, a couple of times I knew I had
got it wrong just after pressing the screen.

The speed gets hard on things like:

John is not as tall as Mike
Who is taller ?

What score did you get then lazysod ?

My score of 58 doesn't look too good against other peoples scores. :(

I just come back from having a skills test, so next to the doctors to get some forms filled out. :)

Well as we are chatting about it I might aswell get big headed and say that I got a score of 71. :D
God I had a hard time convincing the Sgt to let me go for infantry and not a technical job. :-?

I got 68 and I practiced loads beforehand, the one with the letters

H R A Q
h r t q

I found easy to do if you just read across the first line
and second line in your head, this may
be the way everyone did it but it helped me a lot.

The way some people say they didn't bother or just turned up
and did it, is the way I used to be when I was younger.
It really doesn't pay in the long run to act all casual
about any exams or tests. (not directed at you btw)

I admit I never practiced loads beforehand, I went through the book a few times but not allot. As I said before I was more worried of running out of time so I rushed through it. Not the best way to do it, but not to worry
