10 up i think. Search the marines part of the forum, they have had numerous posts with it in MP3 format.

My recruit officer told me at my interview yesterday that the RSC does't involve a bleep test anymore.

I also read about that!

I also read somewhere that they didn't do the press ups or sit ups :-?

some up to date info would be appreciated.

If you do want the bleeptest, PM me with your E-mail and i'll send it to you, even if you don't have to run it for RSC, it's a good training tool.

His original post was about RCB, not RSC.

RCB still does the bleep test, as i was speaking to my ACO today.

Good luck

ISTR 10 is the requirement for a soldier, officers have to do better.

FWIW, my platoon commander at Dettingen Coy, 1 Sandhurst Rifles :P reckoned 9 mins 30 was about what the average cadet should be under. The BFT route at RMAS is fast though (flat, no major gradients), although rumours persist it's 1.8 miles, not 1.5......

It's Level 10.2 on the RCB Bleep Test, 50 situps and 44 pressups. You'll get 3 mins to do as many laps of an 8-piece obstacle course as you can. Get practised with 8-foot walls and those sodding hurdles.

Old PTI trick. I've done some 2 mile "mile and a half's" before.

mr cooper,
I got 16.4 before i collapsed!
Training for you will be easy, then. The fittest cadet I knew at RMAS didn't make level 17!
