Wheyhey! I've waiting for 9 months for somebody to say that! I realised that as soon as I posted it it should have been called "pistols".
There are 3 kinds of people: those who can count & those who can't.

from what i can gather i think id rather have a sig sauer (not sure about spellings) as i believe when tested, it didnt jam for 20,000 rounds and has the same stopping power as the 9mm browning. can anyone clarify this?

Generally a very nasty, very angry person, with a flashy stable belt and far too little hair :P

OK, to extend on the RAf Sidearms theme and particularily the Rocks, do they carry pistols as standard, or would they only be used in FIBUA situations, also in a FIBUA situation would the RAF Reg. have access to MP5s? Would appreciate well informed replies, I would find it interesting if they did.

Turning Pedantry into an art form.................

Much to the knuckle dragging pebble monkeys dislike, they don't get to play with MP5 or SLP as standard, although some might be qualified annually. As with the RMP, CP work in the RAF is the preserve of the RAF Police who DO get to play with MP5 and SLP. In fact, for many years, SLP was standard issue for the snowdrops rather than pebble monkeys (who could only carry Long Arms due, of course, to them having...........long arms !!

On the other hand, pebble monkeys always did get to play with grenades, 66's etc and hang out in trees...................

Aye.

:o

If you lot want to play with guns are you sure the Army wouldn't be a more suitable outlet for your...er 'interests'...and/or...'talents' ?

Mind you I'd love to see the look on the armoury guy's face when you're queueing up discussing which handgun you would like for todays trip out in one of Her Majesty's £50 million EuroSuperFighterBomberTankerRecce FGKR27

Anyway shooting people when you end up on the ground prematurely is really going to get in the way of your future successful career as a tv presenter and author
