Y'know , you'd never get this problem on a RLC thread

"I was an army chef you know"
"Oh yes ??? Prove it !! What does the plaque say in the RLC training bosses office"

"Is it - No more than 6 chips and only one pudding - " ?

Simple, ask Walt what colour the boat shed at Hereford is

I know, old and tired but I really wanted to!

Walts and the SAS

Post by df2inaus »

Any Americans on the forum remember the guy who claimed to have been a Green Beret in Vietnam who was outed on 60 minutes? If only he'd known the guy hunting him was in the very small unit Walt claimed to be in!

This guy had the full uniform, flashes and medals to go with his story. He even faked PTSD, I think. There was even footage of this clown in full regalia addressing hundreds of university students who had paid to see him and then he even started crying about shooting someone.

What an asshole, but also a daredevil.

Did you ever stop to consider that in this golden age of forged credentials there are probably lots of wannabe chefs out there claiming they had been in the Catering Corps???? It wouldn't surprise me.

A Walt who'd really done his homework might even say; "I was once featured in an army training vid about racism in the Catering Corps-have you seen it?"

Probably makes them stop asking questions  !

Oi Stix,

Loz never thought she was there. She was on Oxford Street, shopping for a new pair of Jimmy Choo's with Jules and Me!!

A hell of a lot of people were 'with the SAS', but the question to answer is - when did you pass selection?

This is when people start to look shifty and shuffle their feet.

Passing selection may be difficult. but that is when the really hard work starts.

I remember Archie on the balcony, I tripped over his zimmer frame and nearly broke Artists easel! :D :D

Sorry, didn't intend to be rude, was a genuine question but maybe phrased incorrectly.

Surely if you were in the SAS, you wouldnt be gloating or proving a point as being a member alone proves you are one of a few which should mean something.

Aha Loz.

You have let the cat out of the bag.

By giving away a closely guarded secret.

You can spot the S.A.S by the lack of eye brows. :o

I remember Archie, Artist and Chunky on the balcony. When they got pissed and fell off, the BAS****s landed on me in the sewer! My back hasn't been the same since!
