I was doing the Pre Uniformed Services Advanced course (equivalent to 2 A-Levels) but it was crap to tell the truth. The lecturers, only 1 of which was ex military would make us go for walks at 8 at night. We would all have to get the bus up to meet at some little town then walk back to college. After the third time of doing this, i realised i'd rather be earning some money whilst waiting to join the RAF. I politely :agrue: told my tutor, who tried to tell me how benificial the course was, that I thought the course was, well..........better not to say it

Next stop was McDonalds

Looking to join the regiment??
Officer or gunner??
With both expect to be beasted and bullshitted for 6 months. If you can hack it then you'll find sqn life completely different. Highly professional but more chilled out and you'll be given plenty of responsibilty. Unlike the army's 'monkey see monkey do'.
It's the thinking mans infantry.
