Treadmill Test

Post by Jon »

Ive recently joined a gym and the treadmills have a Marine test programed into them (along with an army one, navy one and RAF one). Is this basically the PJFT?

Sorry if its a stupid question, or been asked before.

not too difficult if you're training hard, I did it in 9:45 not an amazing time but could've been worse

The test on the treadmill isnt the PJFT afterall. Its a 4.8km (3mile) run.

is it fitness first you have joined, they seem to program the tests in, the army tests is a 3 mile run, the marine test is a 5 mile run, your best using the marine run that way you'll be ready for anything they wanna throw at you, (running wise)
