Does anyone actually have any real proof that this extension to training will occur?

I was talking to CINCFLEET Admiral Sir Jonathan Band last night (as you do  ) and he claimed to have no knowledge of it. He said that there has been no significant change to RM training.

I also asked a marine and he said the same thing.

Let's recap then, CINCFLEET knows nothing about it but the RSM of CTC does, I think I know which one I would believe ( a clue it's not the one with a knighthood).

To be honest I was slightly dubious when he claimed to have no knowledge of it. But the fact that there was a RM Captain there who also didn't know about it made me think otherwise.

It seems that they are just ill informed. Given the choice of the Adm or the RSM, I certainly know who I would believe.

If so many people have posted saying that their AFCO has told them there is a two week extension to training then there must be something in it.
Started recruit training 5th July
