Look gents,
I was never anything special, or I never considered myself so. I have worked with a miriad of units and agencies, mostly as a low level support choggie boy with a group of the same. Usually back up fire power, and mostly for specialized Marine and Naval units. As for terms, Grungy a Snake Eater as you know is a Greeen Beret, a Meat Eater is an SF guy who has BTDT in the form of life taking and heart breaking, complete with a medical record stuffed with VD. Oscar Mike is a Force term. Frogman Seal ect you've heard them all I'm sure. Walters/Dumb assses are a dime a dozen in the US. I don't mind them for the most part, what ever makes them feel good, but their constant spread of misinformation is enough to make you mad. I meet guys all the time claiming to be scout snipers, I know scout snipers, I never was one, but I pulled medical coverage for them alot during a training cycle, and when I ask one of the Walters where he went to school at he usually replies "I can't remember". That is the easiest way to spot a liar, they can't remember anything they did or where they were when they were training or deployed. I can still remember my weapons numbers over the last 10 years, if you really do hard training, you don't forget everything, especially the details like when, where and who you traind with and under, hell I remember guys tattoo's and drug allergies and a few blood types.
Let them call me a rebel and I welcome it, I feel no concern from it; but I should suffer the misery of demons were I to make a whore of my soul. (Thomas Paine)

Ask him when the 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) was established and where it was first deployed.

The answers should be A. 1952 B. West Germany

If he gets that right ask him what the full name is of the Special Forces training center.

Answer should be Army Special Warfare Center Fort Bragg North-Carolina.

If he gets that ask him who approved it's construction.

Answer should be President John F. Kennedy

Army Special Forces are also designated as A, C, B, and D teams.

These teams consist of 12 men.

Also ask him the name of his CO (commanding officer).

Ask him which BDU the Green Berets use.

Should be ALICE.

Ask him what kind of weapon modifications they use.

Should be SOP modifications.

Last ask him were he was :agrue: deployed.

General rule is if he shoots his mouth off he's a liar.

There is a reason they call Green Berets the quiet professionals.

Oh and Greenies hate being called snake-eaters.

I was giving examples not set Questions.

Any bloke with a brain can stop in at a library and check these Q&A's out in a book.

Hell, most of them aren't that hard for guys who are interested in SF.
