erm something like
run at 10mph and for 0.5 mile then add .1 of a mile every day to keep motivated
i just did a crap mile at 9.45 i am sick of being this unfit. just about to trick my self put a choclate pudding and if i run a mile in 6 mins i get the cake from 6 to 7 mins
edit
just decided on a plan run 0.5 miles at 10mph morring and night and add 0.1 miles every day painfull but it works
what do people think about this

when you say your tired, what do you mean?
If your breathing heavy just push harder any you'll get there, but if you mean your absolutely shattered cancel your test and give yourself a month. TO run 1.5 miles in 10 mins you have to run at about 14kph on your PRMC you have to keep the pace up for 20 mins, thers a big difference. Give yourself time, don't just go for it without being at a reasonable level of fitness, its not worth failing and having to wait months till you can have another go.

Is this a joke.... You have been training for 3 years and can't run a mile in 10 minutes..
If it ain't a joke I can only think that you were '40 stone' 3 years ago and smoked 60 fags a day....
Also your spelling needs a bit of tweaking....
Keep up the training you may get there before you 50th birthday

i said i have had injerys mate. if i never did alevel i would be in by now i was just trying to maintain my fittness. i could do 3 mile without any effort
but then i hert my foot and the spelling ur talking about is my dislecicer
lol i cant even spell that. so am not thick or out just have probs reading and writing i still got my english exam at grade C and i still have enough alevels to become a officer just gave a VC problem which i am going though hell and lots of pain to sort out
u ever tryed pre training. stop for 3 month and try and run its the hardest stage of training there is.
thanks for that i am just going to put as much effort as i can in as well as ride my bike every day and lots of football as the weekends i got 28days my fitness plan takes 10

You'd really do well to listen to the advice given and wait a while. You can't get fit in 10 days, it has to be a progressive thing. At worst you'll end up hurting yourself again, at best you'll get discouraged by failing the PRMC miserably.
good on you for having the motivation to improve, but aiming to get from a 10minute mile to 1.5miles in the same time, within a 10 day period... it's just not going to happen mate.

am not saying i can be done but i think i can do it and i am going to try. studying alevel sport i know i have a trained heart and i just need to incress myoglobin and mitrocondia.
i am not going to go over the top i know my limits.
thanks for everyones comments and i am really going to give it my all if not i can say i am not ready and they will let me do it later

Mate, you might want to delay that test until you can crack it with serious ease.
The PJFT is the absolute bare minimum recquired, its VERY easy compared to anything else you'll have to undertake in future.
If youre injured and cant run, go swimming and anything else for CV...if not, dedicate your life to upper body and sit up work from now on so when you can run it'll be the only thing you need to sort out.
But really if you can just manage 10mins for a mile on a treadmill? then i wouldnt even bother with the test.
Injury shouldnt be a worry though, I fractured a bone in my foot two weeks before a PRMC and ended up on crutches for over a month with over another month limping about before i could run - i'd only been running for what, er, just over another month again before I did another PRMC and passed - so it wont affect you all that much aslong as you stay focused and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Ive never done the test ...but if you are getting tired after 1 mile(10 mins
) ,youve obvoiusly got to do a lot more running...No on/off shit either,Run everyday and push yourself hard and you will see the difference....
btw,if u dont mind me asking, whats your height/weight.....
