Boots and blisters

Post by MRobertson »

I was wondering if some one could give me a hand and answer a couple of questions for me.

1. Any good tips for breaking in the boots they give after your PRMC?
2. Probably because i don`t know the answer to my first question I have got myself a couple of first class blisters on my heels that are stopping me running so i`m stuck with having to pay to use the swimming pool, so any tips for faster healing would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Not again!! This topic needs locked. USE THE SEARCH BUTTON!

That may seem like an over-reaction, but this is the sort of repetition that really pisses everyone off.
There are 3 kinds of people: those who can count & those who can't.

You see that button in the top left corner entitled 'search', you may one day stumble across this great feature of the forums.

Not many people know how to use it, so either it is a perillous step to take, or people are too lazy

Sticks is indeed wise, and has been a good samaritan and helped you out :D
It's only pain.

Thanks very much sticky. You said all that was required politely and concisely. To the rest of you I apologize for not knowing the ins and outs of this web site (I am new here) but perhaps instead of shouting and making a fuss you could have just left the post alone as the point ,I feel, had already been made. Lets not forget that one of the reasons the Royal Marines are so good is because of their superb team work and part of working as a team is helping someone when they are struggling not shouting at them and making sarky comments especially on a first meeting this leaves a bad first impression.

Nuff said and no (I hope) hard feelings
