  I'm so pissed off with myself, I feel like giving up on the Navy now.

use this as a learning experiance. How did you fail it exactly? Did you prepare?

Don't give up! As Rich said, now you know what to expect, you can come back better prepared. And you've been working towards the navy for quite some time now, don't let it all come to nothing :).

Did they say to come back in 3-6 months? If so, thats more than enough time to get fit.

I failed it because I just couldn't do it and I knew I wasn't going to pass so half way through I stopped the treadmill.

And yeah, I'll get prepared for it now and do it again later on.

I too just failed my fitness test, My preperation involved road running and I had my 1.5 mile time down to just under 9 mins. but I started to feel horrible after 500 meters. I was so angry with myself.

Just joined the gym to practice running on a treadmill in in the desert like conditions of a gym.

Can't believe how angry I am with myself, I don't mind failing but whne i should be able to do it that easily its depressing.

But its a learning experience as everyone keeps telling me, (next person to tell me i will hit).

well, I got into the gym today and did did a practice fitness test and I did it First time, easily. So as you can imagine, I'm a little bit annoyed.
A little bit of preperation and I could have had my PRMC booked.
