hi there people, at the end of August i'v got to go back to the carrees office for an informal interview as i'v already had my interview and passed my aptitude test, just wasn't fit enough when i went in so they gave me 3 months to get fit......which i'm worried about

Anyway, whats the time you have to run 1.5 miles in?

Also, are they still short for Sub-Mariners? I'm going in as OM Weapons Submarine and just wondering if they still desperately need people for submarines? because that means if i get in I'll be virtually off straight in!!

the time you have to do for the 1.5 miler is 12mins 20secs

i think for under 21 its sumin like 11mins 13secs, and im hopfully goin in as weapons submarines, but they told me to get fitter aswel lol

yeah for the PJFT it is 12 mins 20 secs, and once you are down in Raleigh it goes to 11mins 13secs

My understanding is that they are desparate for submariners and are offering a 'bounty' for those who volunteer. You could check out the RN website to see if there's any more info on it.

£25K on achieving Category B double qualification with 4 year Return of Service.

So there you go, these are the bonuses for a Submariner, thats if of course, you make the grade

Yes they are short every time I see my ACLO he asks me to to go subs.
