The Concert Room (opposite the Green Beret pub), adjoins the Garden of Remembrance for the Bandies murdered by the IRA.
Mysteriously the Concert Room was severley damaged by fire a few weeks ago. In this issue of the Globe & Buster; the developers have applied to further develop the site on the Garden of Remembrance and presumably on the Concert Room.
Is this a coincidence?
I'm interested in your views.

Well, certain parts of the old RM Deal are (were) listed buildings. The area is being/has been redeveloped into 'posh' houses and apartments.Andy O'Pray wrote:Hi Guys,
This is an interesting thread, but being a colonial I am obviously not privvy to the details of what may be going on. I get the idea that something sinister, or untowards may be happening. Could someone please give me the details of what is suspected.
Aye - Andy.
The developers wanted to build on some of the sites occupied by listed buildings. Planning permission was rightly refused.
Globe Theatre - listed building, bulldozed, now houses!
Garden of Rememberance and chapel, listed building and memorial. Wanted to be developed. Permission to develope refused.
Mysteriously burned down!
Get the picture....................
If it aint broke, fix it 'till it is!!
