Ok lets see if this annoys anyone.....

Next time war comes around and theres some stupid little anti-war protest I say a group of us make signs that say war is good for the brain and just mingle in with the anti war protesters but to also make sure people know were there we can take a stereo of some sort with a recorded voice saying very loudly " War Is Good" on a loop for 3 hours

In my honest opinion I say :fist: war protesters everytime they have protested has it done anything? no so whats the point the sad little green peace bastards go save some ice bergs.

Perhaps you would be so good as to let the rest of the forum know what colour the sky is on your planet.

In what ways is war good?

Many of the participant on these forums have been to war but I have yet to see or hear any of them say that war is good. Many have lost good friends and colleagues and seen sights that continue to haunt them. War may, at times, be a necessary evil but there is nothing good about it.

I believe it is your intention to join the RM, if so then there is every possibility that at some point you too will be involved in a war or serious combat situation. It would be interesting to see if you were then as willing to spout such a juvenile diatribe of nonsense.

Take a close look at these forums, particularly the PTSD threads, and then perhaps you will rethink your earlier post.

I'm sure he didn't meen it like that maria, but I can understand why he said what he said. I know I would love to let all the protestors know that there are people out there who don't want peace and will do anything for war and it takes people willing to fight and die to stop them. I don't think the nazis would have stopped for someone holding a banner saying "oo go away you nasty men you!" or "please don't hit me I'm a bleeder!" It was men and women who were willing to die for there countries freedom and there are alot of protestors who refuse to acknowledge there sacrifices. I for one am annoyed by that.

Ok first off to Maria in my opinion war is good I do admit in someways it may not be as people loose their lives but for those who survive war it teaches them not to waste their lives after they leave the forces..

I know you may think it was wrong of me to say that but I want war its just naturally in my blood from my father who loved war and served in NI even though that wasnt as bad as what some wars may have been.. dont question what was passed down to me by my father :agrue:

OK maybe he did mean it like that, far be it from me to question his opinion. Although I do think all of us here must "like" war to some degree otherwise why would we be here?

God your a twat, war is never a good thing, either do I think that anyone wants to go to war unless there is something mentally wrong with them, try telling a Falklands vet or a Korea, ww1, ww2, Vietnam vet that war is a good thing. Don’t speak of things you know nothing about!!!

Your exactly the type of person that is making the moderators think of changing this forum into a pay for use site, and if it stops dickheads like you using it then good...

Offensive not to me especially but to some others on here yes , sheer stupidity and another young wannabe that’s probably started another debate that will end up being a feud yes...

p.s. ohh I wasn’t going to stoop to insulting what you look like... there's plenty of time for that...

I know it explains my reason for wanting war... wanting to get revenge on the buggers that made my face like this :) lets just leave this subject alone now as its not going to go anywhere... Sorry if what i have said annoyed anyone and I realise that some of my words were immature and not thought about

Lew, sorry if I offende you but when I said like I meant that most in the armed forces are willing to go to war for one reason or another eg fighting for a worthy cause etc and that they like the idea of the achievment and sense of worth going through something like that instills in someone. Not that people like killing or seeing people killed, I don't think I put my point across very well though and again I'm sorry.

Aldo and Nimard you haven’t offended me, I can understand wanting to test your training, its only natural, but comments like I like war or war is good and wanting to kill people, is not the type of comment we have any right to make, as we are aspiring to be soldiers and haven’t been there, and seen some of the things that most combatants wish they never had to do or see...

That’s all

p.s. friends
:)
