Do you have to carry full fighting order on 3 miler

Post by matt1389 »

I was just wondering do you have to carry full fighting order on the 3 miler at PRMC or do you just run in shorts and trainers.

Mate, I'm sure you can wear a skirt instead if you want, although I suspect that you will attract all the wrong sort of attention. (Unless that's what you are in to.)

Running in shorts is a lot easier. Aerodynamics and all that plus chaffing around the knee area is reduced. But with shorts tight underwear is a must. Needless flashing is uncomfortable and uncalled for.

Running with shorts on, and a T-Shirt,aerodynamics,chaffing around the knee area, scared of getting your balls caught, whimps the lot of you!Get the Bergan on, carry the weight, get yomping as if you were going into battle after all that is what you are training for folks, not a day out or a picnic!

Agree with twenty one.

Knuckle down and except the fact that Royal don't fight in shorts and trainers. (well sometimes maybe, R&R) After a while the gear will be taken for granted. That's why they build you up from week one.
