SAS: Ultimate farce is BACK!

Post by voodoo sprout »

Yup, it's here again! The next series of SAS: Ultimate force (the action thing with the silly bald bloke if you've forgotten it) is starting on ITV on the 18th June, 21:00 - 22:00, with the SAS crew (who don't seem to have many friends, aww) shooting up many a random piece of scenery (and hopefully said bald bloke, repeatedly) in the name of entertainment. And a perfect hunting ground for the anorak support group; with many an opportunity to yell such things as "who told you do hold it like that?" And other such pointless rubbish. Just in case you wanted to know :).

I loved it, I didn't think the viewer ratings would warrant another bunch of episodes.

thanks for the heads up.

do you know when It's coming back on?

There you go Count, I know these things can be tricky :D . And I think the budget has gone up; last series they used some kind of el cheapo replica MP5's which looked like toys, this time they've got decent jobs which actually look like the real thing.

Sorry.

Good show mind you, I was quite dissapointed that the first series was over so quickly.

Chris Ryan put his name to it - advising and even appearing in the last series.... the lure of the big dollar! Or the odd quid, knowing ITV!
It was a bit lapse on details.. but the general Joe Public sucks it in.. they don't know the difference...look at that SAS! Are you tough enough!

If you guys had been awake in February you could have been on Ultimate Force... http://www.navynews.co.uk/articles/2003 ... 020701.asp

It should be quite believable because this time round they have guy who was in the SAS and only left recently and has his acting debut in Ultimate Force...
There are 3 kinds of people: those who can count & those who can't.

It wasn't a bad series actually; nothing like real life I’m sure but then nor is ol' Jamie Bond its still good fun. Personally I thought it was only bettered by Spooks as far a terrestrial TV goes. Applications for MI 5 actually went up after the first series of Spooks despite deep fat fryer incidents!

I watched a Fantastic film today "The Lost Battalion"

don't see many current WW1 films, highly entertaining, I'd reccomend it.

I found the program (ultimate force) a bit too cheese be to be honest. Some parts of it was alright but it had the typical now-a-days setup of "include every 1 in it so we dont upset" e.g they had an asian, african, white and a girl all togeather in 1 group. Now i have never been in the SAS and not going to be either, but that seems pritty unlikely I think? or is it just me being a difficult tw*t.
alright
