Eyesight

I`m thinking of joining the RMR in Edinburgh, but I do wear glasses and was wondering if this would rule me out (I`m within the army eysight limits but can`t seem to find the navy equivalent.) or if not is it a feasable option to wear contact lenses, for example on extended excersise?

you should be ok.you can also get lenses that you can keep in for a month at a time now i think.i know guys with bad eyesight that have worn lenses and havent even declared it.medicals are not exactly stringent

my eyesight is about -2.75, I think that is about 6/36 would this prevent me from joining the rm
