Sadly the Puffing Billy is not as we remember it. It has been tarted up into a trendy wine bar type eatery.....

I've just returned from a weeks holiday in Rock, Cornwall and I managed to pass Lympstone and CTC on my way up! Saw the Puffing Billy and laughed at it's bizarre name, saw the assault course (for the second time and admittedly several hundred metres away, down by the river) and went to find the endurance course (but failed :D ). Got to point out the old '500m to go, It's only Pain!' sign and boasted about how i'd hared past it on the 3 miler. All in all, I feel like I know the place inside out now, having seen it twice in 3 weeks...and of course, i'll know it a lot more intimately in the coming months! :o
