The time frame will vary for each applicant due to security checks and man power at each AFCO! for info on the whole process you should apply for an info pack via the RN website and al will be revealed.

No,
My Written Test, Interview and Medical all came within a month.
However, i picked up an injury and requested extra time to recover and ease myself back into my training. They wanted to send me a month after my medical, which would have been 2 MONTHS TOTAL, the last message i posted saying 5 MONTHS is irrelevent.
Sorry, i forgot about the injury. 5 months is rather a long time for a UK applicant.

With no injury i would have taken 2 months from first visit to afco to PRMC. (they said i was more switched on than alot of people and that it was clear i was 100% dedicated), so maybe 2 months is a short time compared to most applications, i dunno im just baffling on now, and ive prob totally confused you!!! :banghead:

Sorry!!! Its best to just ignor me when i start to waffle on!! 8) 8)

If you are overseas the security check takes longer as a request for info is made to your native country intel agency and then sent on to the screening agency in the UK. (more paperwork). 5 months for a UK national does seem to be long in duration. Unlucky probably got a lazy yoik.
