Let me see that Thong??

Post by Beasta »

Ha ha ha, just had to post this up. Watching Sky News this morning, they were presenting from the Kuwaiti desert. A RM (apologees I never caught his rank) was showing the presenter what is contained in a bergen. He went through the various pouches and pockets, talking about mine clearing kit etc...He then produces a black lace thong out of a pouch and says that "at times he likes to look sexy on the battlefield". The presenter nearlly wet himself, my gfriend broke into hysterics.
Good to see that morale is still high..
Brilliant :D :D

That will have been Hoppy, he wears Loz's cast offs, they're far too big, but being a good hand he wears them anyway!

After 6 - 8 weeks in the field he will be thankful for something clean to wrap his nuts in or something to clean his SA80 with when he runs out of 4 by 2.

Andy

Keep you cross dressing to yourself, I used Lifa long johns. Half the brigade could have used my ex wife's and still had enough left to be used as cam nets.

Something to make Andy O'Pray smile. Two of 42s HW rates were interviewed at 1800 on Sky. Asked to describe what was on his pack Skin1 pointed out the 32kg machine gun which can apparently waz anything up to 2.5k! Spare barrel, 16kg, 200 rounds, lottsa weight, spare ammo more weight, kit, food and water, plus hard hat and fluffy slippers. Total guesstimate by young sprog 160lb! He then said something like, "But that's why we're heavy weapons." :o Always one isn't there.
The interviewer poked his hairy mike at Skin2 who simply pointed at the 5/6 milan tubes strapped to the outside of his bergen and started chatting, which is when the mike fizzled away and we returned to dolly bird in the studio. How much does a Milan refill weigh?

Rob, I will give you the same answer that my Coy Cmdr gave to the Co when asked how many men he had in the coy group. Lots Sir, lots and lots, at least it looks like lots when the Sgt Maj has them fallen in in the morning.

Aye - Andy.

The modern Marine is obviously in touch with his feminine side. I suppose he was at least wearing some... could put a whole new slant on 'Going Commando'!!

Wully, I got my best ever score in darts dressed as a pregnant woman... must have been the heels. A GD mate & I had a joint leaving run and went out dressed as vicars... we went onto the dance floor and stripped down into our Madonna basques and stockings... The best run ashore I've been told about, sadly I was not part of it, was some lads from 42. The put on their old blues jackets with a FEW! exrat badges sewn on and Ron Hill trackser pants and cowboy boots, add a cowboy hat and you had the 5th Cavalry! They all built horses for the night and had to gallop from pub to pub!

El Prez in his whirrly bird dressed in thongs under his flying suit... I wonder?

I have to say that being a wife of a marine in the Gulf, i was glad to see that piece about the knickers. It put my mind at ease because the bootneck sense of humour is still most definately still there. But when my bloody husband comes home I'll kill him he has only taken my brand new M & S granny knickers. Who knows perhaps they had also run out of tents in stores!!

Sorry to confirm Flo's analysis, 30 Bootnecks were discovered snug and warm safe from a sandstorm, huddled inside an XXL pair of wincyette ladies droopys. the SNCO responsible for this camouflaged group of nomads was described as 'paralysed by fear' now that his tale is out. There are however benefits; by attaching axles and wheels, the troop is able to move undetected like a galleon at sea, under full sail, because nobody wants to admit to opening fire on 30 Marines in ladies undies, or do they?

Glad to see the wive's humour matches Royals Flo.
