Only time I've coughed up blood was when I decided it would be a good idea to ignore my sour throat and go for a run anyway.

When I finished I was coughing something fierce and noticed some blood in it. The next day I couldn't talk at all and my throat was beyond sour. Took the day off work and slept it out with the aid of nyquil.

Almost puked a couple of times doing circuits, but have stopped just in time.

You can sometimes rupture small blood vessels in your throat while breathing heavily during exercise, but it would be wise to see a doc and have him/her glance down your neck. Never know he may find where the bolt should go!
You should talk to somebody who gives a f**k.
