Assault course: Horizontal rope crossing

Does anyone have any hints, tips, correct technique etc for the crossing the horizontal ropes on the Commando assault course? Thank you.

Best tip is "DONT FALL IN" lol

According to the info pack. On top of the rope, you pull yourself across horizontally (with your arms) and push with your strongest leg behind, with one leg hanging down for balance.

just don;t let go of the rope and pull yourself across with your hands keeping your feet wrapped arounf the rope

Great advice there Ramz. :o

As LMDAVIES has said you push with one leg and use the other leg hanging down for balance, if done correctly the use of the arms is minimal.
