I notice that quiet a few of the messages in the guest book archives are from ex signallers. Are any of you radio hams? - I was interested to know, as I am, though I was not a signaller (HW/ATK then VM) but was interested in sigs, and grew my interest during my stint on HMS Endurance.
There is a Royal Navy Amateur Radio Assosiation, which RMs are entitled to join.
Drop me a line if you are a ham!.

Good God No!...you radio hams know your stuff, I just used to carry impossibly heavy loads and get shouted at when the helicopter didn't turn up!!
I am, however very friendly with a ham over here in in Nova Scotia, who might enjoy trading callsigns with you...give me an e.mail if you are interested, my details are in the directory.

Hi Noddy,
This here's g0glw, located in Bracknell, Berkshire. Not about much on the bands at the moment, Can mostly be found on the peater, GB3BN. If you are out of range of it, try a little bit of software called "iLink". Most of us use it and GB3BN is internet linked.
CUL...Chalkie.
