hi im going for my medical tommorrow in fact and currently i can do 60 sit-ups 45 press-ups and bout 5 pull-ups when i say this i mean proper dead hang pull-ups but i can run 3 miles in 18 and a half mins.
i have immense stamina and great mental strength but lack in physical strength, will this matter? what do they which do they look for more?
its not because i havent tried its because im just built for running and swimming!

could someone please tell me whether this should be a worry?
experiences and examples would be good thanx again.

I don't think they test your phsysical strength and endurance at the medical test, do they? I thought the medical was just a doc checking over you to make sure your heart, weight/height, bloodpressure, eyesight etc are ok.

The best way to increase your situps and pushups, i think, is to do as many as you can in 1 min (2 for situps), every mornin or before you go to bed.

This site has an excellent pullup program
www-scf.usc.edu/~holgate/usmc_pullup.htm

I find doing 3 sets of pushups in the morning a bit too much, so I just do one max effort pushup set in the morning, then i do the pullup workout in the evening. You can do the max situp set in the morning or the evening. Good Luck!!

Don't worry about it, just go there and give it your best shot.
