At the risk of being charged with sedition I thought I would start this thread that is linked with the RMA.Four years ago I went to the AFA reunion with an ex Para friend of mine.
It was attended by all age groups from WW2 vets right through to serving "Toms".
Now what is their secret?,we must have the same "Esprit de Corps" as them. The answer is this, the Paras are told all about their Association when they are still in,and are encouraged to take part whilst still serving.
This has to be the way to go,I believe the RMA should be given a higher profile at Lympstone, anyone from the Exeter or Exmouth branches reading this might like to give it a go.

How is it that what is so simple to us is so hard for those who run the RMA.
I have been to Army Garrison Towns and seen associations for other Regiments which are the same. They have news letters and glossy magazines.
Don't we deserve a better start and introduction to OUR association?????
