Fitness good enough for AFC para ??

Post by TallBlackDude »

Hi everyone, Im 15 years old and i hope to go to the army foundation college in september 09 and then go into 2 para straight from college, i am just wondering, is my fitness good enough ?? :

1.5 run time : 7min45secs

Press ups in one minute: 26

Sit ups in one minute: 40

Pull ups : 7

Oh and does anyone know how to avoid a heart murmur, as i have ADSC soon, any ADSC advice would be really appreciated ??

7.45 is bit of a stomper really, while 26 pressups isn't really!

Definitely a course of upper body work recommended imo!

to the original poster. your run time is spot on however your upper body needs work. that said your 15 so the results your getting doesnt suprise me. your natural fitness is making its mark hence the very fast run time. but at that age its not very likely you will have adult strength/stamina to lift or carry items over x distance (not that thats a worry in any shape or form at 15). just keep up with the all round training and im sure by the time your old enough to join you will be more than well prepared to cope with all that is chucked your way. good luck
ps and what exactly do you mean by avoid a heart murmur?? my advise would be to cut down on internet porn and wear boxing gloves when you go to bed at night.....

Cant avoid a heart murmur it will be investigated so expect a delay, although it doesnt mean a bar to entry, depends on the type of murmur.

Daggers your sig is way too long and includes text speak, against forum standards, please shorten it.
