What song sticks in your mind and you can't get it out

As I have alot time on my hands

Certain songs keep sticking in my head and I can't help singing all the time, its driving my mum mad. At the moment its this one

(There'll Be Blue Birds Over) The White Cliffs of Dover (Robeson and Jerome version). I would love to hear the Dame Vera Lynn version

I have that workin' song by good charlotte and somebody else but there are other people in this house so I have the common curtisy (spelling?) not to make their day any worse by singing.

I tend to get songs spinning around in my head from time to time. Although they're usually motivational songs.

Very interesting choice the Clash
I thought you guys would listen to something like Led Zeppellin, Queen or The Jam. Some of their songs are very movitational.

Doris Day.... Singing What Ever Will Be,Will Be. I think the real title was some thing like Casara Sara {know doub't the spelling is wrong] but it was popular back in 1956 and I remember the lads singing it as they were putting in an attack on Suez adventure of that year

I've always been big on The Clash, The Jam, The Who, Simple Minds, Queen, Thin Lizzie and U2, over the years.

However, more recently I'm training to Green Day and Linkin Park. The Clash are always on my training music CD somewhere, but at the moment, Linkin Park are No.1 for inspiration with me.

After hearing on London 94.9 (gary Crowley show)

Don't look back into the sun (the Libertines). They were good !!

P.S
There was a doc on channel 4 recently called : Joe Strummer: the Future is unwritten. It was excellent, its a must watch fro clash fans !
On the BBC iplayer, there was a programme. Revolution Rock: Clash live
(on until 5/12/08)

Possibly the best Southern song ever composed. Brings back memories when I'm in the Southland. Looking out the window right now seeing those Pine trees makes me think of this song.

God, but I hate country music. With rednecks and good old boys singing about their cows, hogs,hounds and horses and pick ups and 18 wheelers and drinking and gambling and being a patriot for America!

I like Cajun and zydeco though!

I'm a cheesy pop kinda guy...worst two in the last year for not being able to get out of my head were Nickelback's Rockstar and Kid Rock, All Summer Long...get's effin annoying
