Dumb question

Are you able to so a sniper course once you are in the paras?

Some guys were telling me you cant untill you have served 4 years or something

Just how good a shot are you, can you shoot well in inclement conditions and over large distances. Some people are born with this skill and others will never be good shots even if their life depends on it. Wait until you have done your training and then see what happens

Of course you can, same as you can in any Infantry Battalion in the army. However, as Sandy pointed out in the MFAT discussion, you will be at the bottom of the pecking order when/if you join your Battalion. By that stage of life you may have other priorities, ie career courses, ideas about what part of Battalion you'd like to go to (SP weapons, Sigs, Patrols etc), aspirations to go onto SF etc.

Ahhh yeah i can see where your going with it :)

Urm im not sure i think il just do my training if i get in and then take it from there :D
