Spelling and other such social niceities are important, if you have to pass information along in written form in the RM's (or any military unit) the one's receiving it have to know what your on about don't they?....
Oh and if you think these lad's are beening mean, your in for a surprise at RT, they won't sit around debating with you on the web if you get in their face.
Have a read through what you post ben25 before getting too excited.
The moderators give up their own time to moderate this forum and as far as I know they've never been paid a penny, or dime.
I seriously doubt they would let you drive up there in your car, let alone park; I might be wrong but I think security needs have taken on a whole new meaning these days.
They have their own Commando Railway Station as you probably know.

Maybe you should pay attention son.
If you ever get through PRMC and RT you will realise that attention to detail can save lives, that includes spelling.
How would you feel if you called for air support as a FAC and buggered up your grid reference because you were too lazy to spell correctly?
Dead good guys as you were too busy on your Nokia.
Listen up or bugger off,I don't mind which.
when i was in training we had to go down pompy to visit the r.m museum, one of the lads lived in pompey and asked while we were down there could he stay at home instead of staying onboard.
he ended up looking like a bat hanging off the door frame. needless to say its a stupid question. you will be part of a troop FULL TIME not 9 til 5 . Those sort of privilages come with a green lid

Ben, perhaps you need to do a bit more studying before you join the Corps. It isn't some part time job where you can go home after work, you will probably only see your G/f during major leave periods (Xmas, Easter and Summer). As for your car, it will sit on the topfield where if you are lucky you will get a chance to start it now and again.
As for us representing the Corps then if you don't like what is being said then perhaps the Corps isn't for you, you are about to embark on what could be an outstanding part of your life and I for one would quite happily repeat my time in the Corps so please don't screw it up.
No offence, but you lot really need to get a grip. If you argue about stupid things like this, how are you going to manage to get along with your team during training when someone makes small mistakes? You are suppose to help, not criticize, so get a fu*king grip. As for the moderators on here representing the corps, that is a joke as well, as most of these people haven’t even been in the royal marines, and are probably snotty nose teens thinking there big. Instead of spending so much time on sites like this, why not go out for a run, training etc. If the moderators are there to help, start helping and stop criticising, as a lot of these people that come on the sites for help are still young and need the help, they may need to be told what is wrong, but not to be criticised.
Keep it up crissss...ssss
Two posts and your criticising the mods.
You don't know us or have any idea where we have been or what we have done.
Wind your neck in or fcuk off.
It's little know-it -alls like you that ruin a perfectly good forum.
Ask for help? You will get help.
Gob off with nothing to back you up and a serious attitude problem?
Then guess what.
Forget the military,I have the McDonald's recruiting phone #
Just PM me for the complete recruiting package.

I think you will find the people on here answering the question's and criticising the bone one's have served or are serving one way or another.
With the majority being RM.
