Get your head down and put in the hours' of fitness training. Brush up on your Para's history. I'm sure the rest will muscle in with more suggestions. Best of luck. Patrick :D

The guys in the Careers office will be able to give you some sort of training program to get your fitness up, all you have to do is get yourself to that level and the depot will do the rest. You're not required to be the finished article on day 1 of training so don't flap. If you went to the careers office in town by James street then I think I know the Reg guy in there, he's a good guy and will help you all he can. Make sure you don't beast yourself and get injured, DO NOT RUN WITH WEIGHT!!!
There is no fear, there is only the force.

The main thing is work on your fitness, if you trawl through the web there lists of what they are looking for in the way of fitness. Although they will bring you up to that level in training it will make life that much easier for you if you have got your self fairly fit

Yeah, seconded. Fitness wins joe. Just be careful and AB legend is right, no running with weight pal.

I take it youve had a look at the kit list sticky thats up? There are some things on there that you could start to get together. I will try to dig out my "unofficial kit list" which has all the stuff that i had that helped me out. its not cheating, the crime is getting caught. No promises as it might have disappeared.

the fitter you are the slightly less stressful you may find it as you wont be worrying about the phys asmuch as the guy whose hanging out but saying that you will both be in agony when you finish phys because you will both have given it all! If you dont feel like your about to vomit then youve cheated yourself as it will only make the final tests that bit harder than if you'd of pushed yourself!

Good luck and listen to what the Para lads on here say!
