I did mention that in my above post mate

But again, anyone worked with them/ know how they're working out?

Cheers

ACOGs are good mate. The eye relief is different to that of a SUSAT so dont be putting your eye right up to it or you will twat yourself when your weapon recoils :) Thats not speaking from experience by the way.

The graticules are much better than the SUSAT also. At 100m you lay the central crosshair straight onto your target and you will hit. 200m you use the second grat crosshair down, 300m the next one down etc all the way to 600. it means you save time fannying around with the range drum.

Zeroing them are a piece of piss also. No more "tighten one screw and then tighten the one on the other side", its like a sniper scope where its clicks on the dial for however many cm's your off. easy peasy!

2 para only just received them before Herrick 8 so it might be a while before everyone else gets them. Not sure what Royal will be taking with them on Herrick 9.

So as for depot, you learn the hard way first buddy

Alrite lads,

Yeah we've got the acog for H9 aswell, think we're leaving them out in theatre. Also just got some gucci new hand guard, its a picatinny type affair with a vertical hand grip that pops a bipod out of the bottom!!! Could be quite good, sa80 looks mad now, and as always now weighs a bit more!

Nice one.

Yeah, seen a couple of picatinny SA80s out there. I think they are calling it the SA80-A3. Not that there have been many other modifications.

The "gangster grips" are the balls. i have found that my shooting accuracy has gone up considerably. The pop out legs are good too.

I want a suppressor next :)
