Minimi Gunner

Post by daveroyal »

Alright lads,

Going out on Herrick in Sept and just been given the minimi (prof!)
Just wondering what set up you found/saw best to carry the link?
e.g pussers webbing with minimi pouches or a gucci arktis minimi gunners vest.

Cheers.
Dave.

ey up royal.

i found pussers webbing best for gpmg in afghan.

instead of pussers mag pouches replace them with utility pouches. trust me works a treat.

minimi is awesome for geasing up tangos

must admit pussers utility pooches always worked well! fit a fair few lead wasps in them aswel. dont think theres any real need to spend the cash on a gucci vest thats just not much better.

looking forward to the MRX on sailsbury?? cant wait :drinking:

Pussers beltkit by far mate. I think most lads who went with the old gucci arktis bits of kit ended up hangin out, as it's basically like wearing an assault vest with stacks of weight (800-1200 link plus grenades etc.) which is a mega hang out for your back, a right pain in the tits in the prone and was just generally uncomfortable. I found the pussers webbing the most comfortable and the 100 and 200 bags fit nicely in pussers utility pouches. On a slightly different note, get hold of one of those plant sprayers if you can, they make a hoofin spray bottle for oil for the minimi or the gun. Enjoy the tour!
