Actually, most curry house owners in the UK speak Urdu, most of them being Pakistanis :D
Actually the vast majority of curry houses (and workers) in UK are Bangladeshi owned therefore speaking Bengali would be more useful.
Bit like being out in Oman...
You can have peace.
Or you can have freedom.
Don't ever count on having both at once.

As with all green kit, issue humour often gets lost & ends up elsewhere.

Why not try here?

Really? That surprises me. Well, now it's my turn to stand corrected! That said the ones I used to visit in London were all Pakistani.

learn pashto

Post by tanha »

Hello,
looking at the problem of our troops learning Pashto, i have been working on pashto language learning website for englsih speaking people. knowing that Canadian and British troops are in Afghanistan, i thought this website would be helpfull for them to learn some basic language.
The goal of this Website is to help you in acquiring a conversational ability in Afghan Pashto, and to provide you with the information about the History, Language, and Culture of the people who speak this language
http://www.pashto.ca
thank you,

I've had a quick look and it looks fantastic - and it's all free. Great work. I'm sure it will be useful to many members of this site.

Good one flighty, why let an old thread go to waste eh? Especially when you can post utter drivel about me! Stop pulling comments from your arse and get on with something else.

And it's misogynist, not mysogynist.
