I believe it's Leopard 2A1.

Thanks for the information, I had worked out with help from this forum that is was Leopard running gear but could not find the variant for the turret.

Please don't tell anyone else so that I can win the quiz!!!

Sorry guys the tank that Iran was going to buy then didnt was actually an early Chally ,we kept the order and after a few Mods hey presto its called a Chally 1.I am on about the tank in the picture as being the vickers MKIII i believe.I started out my army time on Chally 1 and we had a few old wagons that started out in the order for Iran.You could tell because they still had the mounting bolts on the hull for the different hydrogas set up.
