Well as i'll be going to Halton I think the earliest Ill be there will be April! :o but who knows I could be lucky!

having said that only got 1 month until specialist interview!

What's involved in the specialist interview then mate? More interviews and tests? :-?

Basically yeah for firefighter its lots of physical tests that firefighter would do

e.g. hose running (the worst one)
climbing ladders
claustraphobia tests

etc

then another interview with a serving ff.

Its the hose running thats the worst mate.

Although I do have one to practice with so that helps!

Besides I get the feeling that over the next 4 years you may be doing a fair bit more Phys than me :D

Got a call yesterday and my PGAC is now the 07/01/2008, well pleased. Got put on a standy list, so could be away sooner than expected! 8)

Passed the PGAC, was hard work and a lot tougher than expected! Hopefully get on a TG course in Feb.! :D
