Well I went through half of the process.... Until I failed the Medical at RAFC Cranwell because I was too small and light... :P

Basically, if you have finnished your GCSE's with good results...

1. Go to your RAF Careers office
2. Ask them about the sixth form scholarship
3. They should book you in to a presentation about the RAF and the Scholarship
4. If you still want to continue they will book you in for an interview at the Careers office
5. If you are good enough, and pass this interview you will be selected to attend a 3 day selection process at RAFC Cranwell
6. At Cranwell you will undergo Aptitude, Fitness and Medical tests and a final interview.
7. If you pass all of these and do well in your interview you will be invited back in 6 months or so.
8. When back at RAF Cranwell for the second time you will undergo the same tests along with some others such as, leadership excersizes and teambuilding.
9. If you do well in all of these tests and make a good impression in your interview you will be then offered a sixth form scholarship and granted the sum of money (£2000 or something)
10. All you need to do then is keep your end of the deal and do well in your A-levels and prepare your self for the RAF by staying with the Air Cadets or taking part in Leadership excersizes.
11. Once you've received your A-level results and they are good enough for the branch you have chosen you can choose direct entry into the RAF or go to Uni.
12. If you choose direct entry you will immediately start your IOT and start the ball rolling for your career into the RAF.

Hope that helps....

They've changed slightly since I did them last year I think. But roughly you have to be able to get to level 9 on the bleep test, do at least 12 or something push-ups and around 30 sit-ups. But when you go for the presentation you should be handed with an allmighty pile of forms and booklets that will give you more information than you could ever wish for! :P
