Basically, all the stuff you do before you join is bugger all compared to your everyday life of hell once you're in training! :o

I was thinking along the lines of your turn up, get given a big gun, a pretty hat and then go home and they ring you when your needed :lol: :o
On a serious note, I fully understand (well I think I do) that it's going to be nothing like I've done before and It's the going to be a lot of pain and hard work.

Also you get about 3 travel warrents a year i seem to remember, besides that you get a forces discount card but have to pay your own way home, so actually driving is not only faster (usually) but much cheaper! With discount my return ticket was 64 quid!

Yes it is now 28 weeks with P Coy in weeks 21/22
