Why, do you miss it?

Go and make me a cup of tea, or I'll pan your lights in.

Seriously though, bullying can happen anywhere, not just in the forces.

If you don't fit in, you are more likely to be unpopular though. So don't sit in and make plastic model kits, if the rest of the lads go out on the lash.................unless of course you are built like Goliath.

Good leaders will do their best to stamp out bullying as it reduces the effectiveness of the unit, but even so, it can be difficult to stop completely.

Aloha, as previously stated, bullying can happen anywhere.

Personally, I use to get bullied in school quite a bit but it abruptedly came to an end when I aligned myself with a few top notch lads.

Basically, find someone around ya that isn't bullying ya and stick with 'em. If they fit in, you're unlikely to get bullied because a bully doesn't like taking on odds greater than 0.5:1.

No you do not do that, if your being bullied you see someone who you can talk too and take the correct actions depending on the severity of the bullying, or you could just smack someone :o but that'd be wrong and I've never done that.

The only problem with that brilliant logic is that bullies don't generally bully people who can beat them up.

Hi Duggers i'm sorry to here your career in the navy didn't go to plan i'm sure what ever you decide in the future will work out well for you.

Bullying in any working environment should not be tolerated. I don't think i'm in the rite position to tell you how you go about your business but ignore the prat who gives you grief, head down, concentrate on your work and i'm sure after a bit of time your superiors will notice your hard work and contribution to the team.

Ive come across some really rude individuals in my job who i would love to chuck a can of baked bean at their head or crack them round the chops with a frozen turkey but i tend to tell them to f-off and they tend to shut it, quick sharp.

As for changing your personality or fighting back is absolutely nonsense in my opinion, this is not school, don't let someone tell you to change who you are, what ever happened to individuality.

If in doubt tell them to knock my door i've got the the turkey waiting in the freezer :drinking:
Good look pal

If you've been picked on your entire the problem is with you not your job. Go get a job where you work alone, or change yourself.
Worst advice you could ever give someone.

He looks like a guy that can stand up for himself. At the end of the day, there will always be arses out there who will try and make you conform to their ways. Not so much in the adult world of work but in basic training in some camp, they'll think they're the boss- which they're not. Tossers. They're starting out a fresh, just like you.

Like it's been said here- tell them to f@#k off, back off and get lost! They'll soon get the message.

Sorted. :-?
