TA during education

i was at uni and joined the TA as i wanted to into the army afterwards and become an officer (by going to sandhurt), and after a while i became aware that my work at uni was not at its best as my weekends would be taken up.
At first it was fine, i think this was due to the low work load, but as the year went on i had to choose between carrying on with the TA and failing uni, or put the TA on hold and continue with uni work.
i went with later option, and am now in the process of applyin to sandhurst,
I supose it depends on your course aswell as some are less demanding than others.

Thanks for all the awnsers. I'm going to go talk to a recruitment office about what I can after I get my exam results back. I'm probally going to go with the TA during college then mobilising for a year before uni. During uni ill do the UCAS. Ill just need to talk to my boss and persuade him to let me change my hours.
