Harrogate afc

Hi all,

I passed army selection on the 8th of march and i have been offered my place within the staffordshire regiment in the army and a place at harrogate army foundation college, i go to the college on september the 9th and i cant wait, ive only got 22 days of school left, anyone else going to harrogate on this dat, and has anyone ever been ?

Im going in as an infantry man in the staffordshire regiment, but my careers officer told me at harrogate i can change to a different regiment within the first (i cant remember how long) so i think ill change to paras if i can. What you joining as?

RAC Tank Crewman. Not happy about what happened the other day with the scimitar and challenger 2 but its apart of the job i suppose

What happened to the Scimitar? I know about the Chellenger 2 incident.

So does everyone going straight from school go through education with the army now?

People going straight from school either go to bassingbourn or harrogate, bassingbourn is a shorter course for kids who have been in trouble with the law or been expelled from school etc. but harrogate is for the higher achievers (i think).

Harrogate was the shittest year of my life waste of time wish i went to pirbright any passed harrogat then joined 29 commando passed the AACC now the army is good advice = dont go harrogate

dont worry about it he probably couldnt do the vocational side of things :P
