Anyone off to the "annual sporting" event this year after last years sucessful festivities?

If so, anyone know where us (as in us 2 northern birds) can get a drink after 9.30pm? Last year Twickers was drunk dry by then so we staggered back to the hotel armed with our water pistols!

Get yourself there, its tradition for us A team members to attend the annual event and this year we are 2 members down, leaving just two members left!

I had my stag day at the Army Navy a few years back and it was fantastic, all my old mate could be seen stagging on in the sun under the redcaps and i was smashed and abusing them all from the stands, i think we won but remember very little from the game apart from my old Sarnt Major letting me know that streaking from end to end wouldn't be such a good idea.............miserable sod

I'll be there. An old oppo who used to post here (as Gash Hand) has sorted out some tickets for me and my running oppo (perce I'm afraid - 9 Sqn RE - but we'll look after him ). I'll be trashed (I won't say we because my running mate is a lot bigger than me) by 9.30pm and probably on my way home or sat in my local in Kent (run by a former para regt fella - so I can gloat about the result).

Well last year we some how managed it back to the hotel after the days festivities! Although getting home I cant remember, last thing I recall was scooby drinking out of a bowl in cabbage patch and some charming squaddie guarding the door to the gents whilst I used the facilities since the ladies was packed! Lol Charming fella!

Hopefully this year will see us out past 9.30pm! LOL
